Has anyone purchased this set? I have only seen photos and the cars look amazing. From what I can see from the photos a lot of detail.
How do they run? Thanks, - Dave |

They look outstanding! I missed the boat on pre-ordering and it seems they are sold out everywhere.

Dave,
I'm expecting mine any day now; they'll probably arrive tomorrow. Then I can let you know how they go. Keith |

Sounds good, i will await a review on their performance. like i said they look very awesome from some photos i have seen. i have read recently that they may
release them at a later date individually. so Larry we still may have a chance.

I picked mine up last week, they are drop dead gorgeous! If they only had two more stablemates!!!! I have a feeling that this will be the most successful of
all the retro F1 sets Scalex has done. I just wish that they could figure out that most guys who race this stuff do so on more than two lanes.
I think we should start a campaign to encourage Scalex to do two more from this legendary year... The Brabham BT24...Which actually won the World Championship for Denny Hulme in '67
And how about the Honda RA 300 with it's dreadlocks like exhausts, winner of the '67 Italian GP
Don't like one of these how about the Ferrari 312
I get the feeling that these would sell well too! |

indeed, just like Grand Prix Legends the video game. the golden year of f1 in many folks' eyes, 1967.
wonder if the motors are 'too fast' like the other historic F1s they produced. R |

All of those cars would appeal to me. great stuff. I see Alan's point about the transaxle/gearbox- but they're still an good improvment upon the older
fatter cars by MRRC and SCX et al, I think.
Then the next loaded question- if they'd have gone to 8/24 instead of 9/27, or 8/23, could they have gotten the gear smaller enough to have made a diff? Bob |
